Decades ago, how to use color to neutralize dark marks or skin discoloration was taught, learned and practiced by professional makeup artists, however this concept has been replaced by concealers and other cosmetic products that camouflage rather than neutralize.

Certain colors do the work for us when it comes to removing discoloration. Red and green, blue and orange and pink and brown are all colors that cancel each other out.

Our all-natural, mineral-based neutralizing color correctors are eye treatments as well.

They contain nourishing and skin-loving ingredients such as evening primrose, sweet almond and avocado oils. Their high essential fatty acid and vitamin E content help to fight free radical damage which help delay of appearance of fine lines.

Skin type: All

Coverage:medium-to-full (depending on application)
Size: 4.5 grams

A corrector is intended to cover the area like a concealer. Our Color Correctors are made to neutralize discoloration. After correcting the area apply your Creme Minerals foundation, then you can follow with Get Loose if needed.

Creme Correctives are excellent for covering dark circles, bruises or for neutralizing redness. We have 7 shades to choose from. Each color has the power to block out another. Every skin discoloration can differ in color. For example, one’s dark circles may be gray, while someone else’s is blue or reddish.

Does not contain petroleum-derived ingredients or such as Dimethicone, Butylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Mineral oil, Petrolatum, Ethoxydiglycol or silicone-based additives (ingredients ending with -cone, -conol, or -xane), all of which give that silky feel to products, but can lead to clogged pores and may do more harm than good.

GINGER (deep orange) This is excellent under eye concealer for foundation shades 9-12

DAHLIA (brick red) - This is excellent corrector for shades 13-15

GREEN TEA (green) - neutralizes redness such as rosacea on porcelain skin tones. But be careful that you are not trying to neutralize temporary redness, such as what occurs after exercise when your skin may look red because when the redness disappears your skin will look like it has a mask on it. Also can be used for covering blemishes, zits, red blotches, rosacea, port-wine stains

SUNFLOWER (yellow) - Perfect for hiding those dark areas around the eye prior to applying your Crème Minerals. Can be used to conceal bluish bruises, under-eye circles and mild red tones on the face. Ideal for shades 2, 3, 6 and 7.

APRICOT (peachy) - Used for canceling dark areas for medium brown skin tones that have hyper-pigmentation or discoloration. Ideal for shades 68, 7, 78.

ROSE (pink) - This color brightens darkened areas. It neutralizes brown - think: age spots or the brown discolorations on lighter skin tones. It is also great for brow bone and inner corner of the eye.

HOW TO USE

Apply foundation before you apply the concealer. If you do not use foundation, the concealer can be applied directly to your bare skin.

Dab a small amount of concealer from the stick onto your finger or a small makeup brush. Then apply the concealer to the center of the blemish or under-eye area.

If you prefer, you can dab concealer onto your skin directly from the stick, but this method doesn’t allows for as much precision.

Use a fingertip or brush to gently blend the concealer outward from the center of the blemish or discolored area until it appears to match the rest of your skin tone.

Dust our SHEER translucent powder over the concealer before it dries completely. This will set the concealer and help prevent it from rubbing off over the course of the day

Yellow: Yay; Green: Nay

The sunflower yellow has a different consistency than the green tea. With the yellow, a little goes a long way. With the green, it was if I hadn't put anything but grease on my face, and it didn't cover up my permanent red blemish at all.

Great color corrector

I purchased the sunflower color corrector for my concealer and it has been amazing. Without it my concealer would look very ashy and too pale. Now it looks natural and helps conceal dark circles better.

Apricot Correcter is a game changer!!!

I have dark under eyes due to the shape of my eyes and cheekbones. But the apricot Correcter really brightens up the area!

I wanted to love it :(

I bought the Green Tea color corrector, and sample sizes of Rose and Apricot. I wanted some 'clean' vegan beauty products, specifically for redness reducing because I realized the green primer I usually use is made of silicon (Smashbox). This PJB may be natural, but the texture feels like stage makeup - the second ingredient is wax and it FEELS like it. This stuff is super hard to get off my skin, too - even my hands. It is wayyy too dark for my pale skin, and verrrrrrry concentrated color. It's darker than matcha - more like the color of a dark green houseplant. I can kinda force it to work if I mix this with my (non-natural) Wet N Wild concealer stick, to make the green lighter, more like a 'green tea' color. But even then the wax makes this tough to blend and I hate the way it feels on my skin. Good job making a natural vegan formula, and I love the less-plastic packaging, but please make a lighter green option for the pasty people, and please find a formula that feels less sticky. Color notes - GREEN TEA: The green was more of a "pine" green, and because it was so dark and had SO much green pigment, it was really tough to blend well. Worked a little better when mixed with white cream moisturizer and concealer. ROSE: Verrrrry light compared to the picture. Super opaque. Used it like a highlighter. APRICOT: Mixed it with the rose to make a peach under-eye color corrector. Worked okay for this and the waxy texture didn't bother me on the eye area (until it was time to take it off). PJB please keep working on it and make something that is natural, vegan, moderately pigmented, smooth, and buildable
