I love this makeup honestly. I couldn’t use the foundation without the cream foundation stick though.
The foundation itself is very thin and more like a skin tint. Also if you get the foundation and the cream foundation stick they are slightly different colors. This was fine for me and maybe even better because I’m so pale. I got the #1 in both and the foundation stick is much lighter in color.
My issue with the product is that I didn’t use the cream foundation stick every day and when I did I didn’t use a ton but it’s already at the bottom of the bottle and it’s been just about a month of use.
I’ve never been a heavy makeup user and not a single makeup product I have has ever been gone so fast and this is an expensive one.
Day one I thought this may be the only makeup I ever buy from here on out but the price it is for how little product I got is a bit steep. The package made me think there would be much more but it’s already gone.

We’re so glad to hear that you love the makeup and found a combination that works well for your skin tone. To clarify, the powders used in all of our foundation formats — including the liquid and cream stick — are exactly the same formula. Because the foundation stick is made with a wax base, it can sometimes appear lighter or apply differently on the skin, especially if it goes on more sheer or is layered. That can definitely affect how the color is perceived.
That said, the foundation stick is not meant to be sheer, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We’re going to pull one from the shelf and test it to ensure everything is performing as intended.
As for the amount of product — we completely understand your concern. Our packaging is designed to be sleek and compact, but it can sometimes give the impression that there’s more product inside than there actually is. I am really enjoying my Creme Minerals Foundation Stick! I've been wanting to try a foundation stick and finally found this one from Plain Jane. I love that it contains only healthy ingredients. It's creamy, goes on easily and I found a good match. I tried a few sample shades first to be sure. Thank you, Plain Jane!!
